Workers' City app for iPhone and iPad

Hamilton has always been a workers’ city. This interactive tool presents the rich working and industrial past of Hamiltonians in all its breadth – at home, in the workplace, in the community. Trace the growth of Hamilton industry through the eyes of its workers by visiting the streets, parks, factories and neighbourhoods where this history was made. Use the app to search for specific buildings or sites or to explore a set of five thematic tours of Hamiltons downtown, north, and north-east ends. Each site’s unique story is revealed in different combinations of archival photographs, text and oral interviews.
